Artist and Creator behind Crooked Fairy Crafts.
Growing up in the Highlands, I have been painting the Scottish landscape since age 13. There is so much variety in the vastness of the Scottish Landscape from bleak moors to bustling city streets, all made wonderously beautiful by the fleeting light and shifting weather; I could never run out of inspiration. I can occasionally be found painting other subjects, but the landscape of Scotland always draws me back.
When I don’t have a paintbrush in my hand I don’t stop creating. I taught myself to crochet so that I could make dragons and now I’m a functional yarnaholic! From my home at the foot of the Campsie Fells (“Crooked Fairy Hills” in Gaelic) all sorts of creatures are brought to life, some from my own designs and many from other amazing pattern designers.
